Dave Rose is a versatile Musical Director and conductor with over twenty-five years’ experience in high-end musical theatre. His work spans large-scale West End and international productions, collaborating with some of the most prominent creative teams and performers in the industry. .

Dave was Musical Director for the West End production of Stephen Schwartz’s new musical The Prince of Egypt at the Dominion Theatre and conducted the Grammy® Award-nominated Original Cast Recording. He has a long association with the hit musical Wicked which he has conducted internationally, including the Chinese premiere in Shanghai and most recently the 2025–26 season in Korea.

Over the course of his career, Dave has taught at several top UK drama schools, including the Royal Academy of Music. He studied trombone, piano and conducting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and has a lifelong passion for film music.
